Hunting for Jobs
First thing I did was look for openings. I didn’t have my own phone back then, so I’d borrow my cousin’s or go to the cyber café near my house. Police jobs don’t come up all the time you’ve got to watch out for them. Every state has its own police, like Maharashtra Police or UP Police, and they put out ads when they need people.

My first shot was in 2023. They were hiring 3000 constables. I studied, ran, felt ready. The written test was okay I think I did alright on GK, but reasoning was confusing. The physical test was a nightmare. It rained that day, and the ground was all slippery. I barely finished the run in time, but I slipped on the jump and didn’t make it far enough.
When the list came out, my name wasn’t there. I felt awful. I’d bragged to my friends, and now I had nothing. My mom just said, “It’s okay, try again.” That helped me not give up.
What I Figured Out
Failing taught me stuff. I wasn’t fit enough needed more running practice. And the big vacancies? Too many people apply, so it’s super hard to win. I started looking for smaller jobs, like home guard posts, where less people try.
