CRPF HC & ASI Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023

  • Exam Date of CBT (Computer Based Test) :- 22-28 Feb 2023
  • Section B,C,D will be set as bilingual.
  • Questions will be of Objective Multiple choice type, Question will be set in Hindi and English.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
  • The date & Centre of CBT will be informed to candidates via Admit Card(To be downloaded from CRPF website), SMS & Emails
  • The question in the CBT will be of Intermediate level.
  • Computer Based Test : The Computer Based Test will consist of one paper with 100 objective type questions to be attempted in 1½ hours (9O Minutes) :
  • The Examination will consist of Computer Based Test, Skill Test, Physical Standard Test, Documents Verification and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All these stages of the Examination are mandatory. Details of these Papers/ Tests is as follows:

CRPF HCM / ASI Physical Fitness Test

CRPF Skill Test -Typing (HCM) / Shorthand (ASI/ Steno)

  • For Assistant Sub Inspector Steno : – Dictation : 10 minutes@8O words per minute
    Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
  • For Head Constable / Ministerial : –English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. ORHindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.

    (35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to10500 key depressions per hour in English 9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer)
